It is definitely winter here ~ cold and rainy.  Miserable weather.

Day Two

In this current day of immediate gratification, why haven't we invented immediate dry paint?  Why doesn't polyurethane dry in 30 minutes and be ready to go?  

While I wait FOR PAINT TO DRY I unloaded the books out of Amy's room to put on the shelves.  I have watched CBS Sunday Morning, NCIS: New Orleans........now I am just going to vacuum.  And fertilize the plants.  And wait for paint to dry.

This project leads me into my next project which is the upstairs guest room closets.  These have boxes to unpack ~ basically another black hole to explore.

PS ~ at 3pm the paint was dry and so I finished my project:

The Project List

So my first project was putting away Christmas and making the spaces beautiful.  Check.  Today I started my second project.  Taking everything off the built -ins and sand them then put poly on them so they stop being tacky. 

So here is everything cleared off.

Anyway, the two hours between the first coat and the second coat felt like forever!! But it is all done and actually feels good.  My impulse is to say it is dry and put everything back......but I KNOW that is the bad or rather incorrect thing to do.  So I wait.

Time to lay around.
