Welcome to Thomas Clifton Robinson

On Thursday September 17th I was lying in bed when I received the first photo of Carolyn and David's new baby, Thomas Clifton Robinson.  Surprise!!!!!! I believe he was due October 6th.  Anyway, I texted Carolyn back and she immediately texted back (she is good about that) and said "27Sept, 0445, 7 lbs.

WHAT???  Had I been in a coma????? Did I have a sudden unset of COVID and missed a week? I texted her back and she corrected the date.  Yes, he was born on September 17, 2020 at 0445 and weighed in at 7 pounds.

Amy and I both think he looks like Dad and Maren

Lori and Jim immediately drove to San Antonio ~ they were supposed to go to the beach, but the call of a first grandchild was too great.

Welcome to parenthood!  Yes,that is pee.

Meeting Ava and Reilly.

I discovered that Lori and Jim were in San Antonio on the Saturday after his birth.  I was at work on Saturday because Mr. Jordan was going to cut the grass at the Iredell and Hillsborough Road properties and the lawn mowers were not where they had been.  So I called.  Jim answered the phone immediately....which was a surprise.....and in the conversation he told me they were in San Antonio.  They drove and must have left on Thursday to get there!!!!!  And yes, Snoopy went with them!

I asked Lori if they were going to be Meemaw and Peepaw.  Lori laughed and said that Jim would be Pop and that he said she should be Lolly.  In a wierd sort of way that is really cute.

Jim told me that the baby was sleeping and eating and was just perfect and that Carolyn thought he was on a good schedule. Ha ha ha!  He is 3 days old!!!!

Of course, because he is Carolyn and David's baby, he probably is on a schedule and will sleep through the night and never have a tantrum.

Welcome to the world Thomas Clifton Robinson! (Oh, Clifton is David's middle name and his grandfather's name). So TC has both grandparent's represented.

Much love,
Leslie
