Well, not huge changes.....but some good ones. Ones that I will love! First off, we live in a neighborhood with an HOA. And we got "THE LETTER" saying that our fence must be painted and it MUST be in the brown catagory of colors. Well drat, we liked a gray tone to match the house. So, we are having the fence and porch floors done ~ power washed, sanded, repaired and then painted with two coats of whatever Sherwin Williams stain we choose. The work will commence on St. Patrick's Day.
So far the weather has been Spring like! Last year we were cold thru May. But right now, it is really nice but breezy. I have finished the trimming back of the plants and seeing the green at the base of everything and the leaves of the daffodils peaking up is very exciting for me!
On Tuesday, Mr. Hernandez is coming over and doing the deep edging of the beds ~ they will be straight and deep and will help keep the crazy grass from going into the beds ~ mulch does not stop the grass. So I am very happy with that. The house is going to look beautiful!!!!
The horses and Amy are happy to be back at Forest View. Amy clipped Jake ~ it is a full days job to help him not look like a Shetland Pony. And Loki and Gypsy both go to the barn ~ but Amy has decided to take them one at a time. But it is very nice to see Loki able to go.
