Animal Kingdom

I thought that I would devote a blog to the pets that run our lives.  I like to think that I have some control, but in reality, the pets rule.  

This is Bennett - who thinks he is my husband.  He is my shadow and prefers to go where I go.

And this is Melanie - his sister.  Both are from the Lab Rescue Society of Northern Virginia.  Melanie loves to carry socks around.

This is a rescued Love bird ~ very affectionate and will take a bath in my hand.

  

And then the two parakeets ~                   

And, at the end of the day, what's not to love.
