Doesn't it look grand? She has already had the piano tuner out, so I know the piano feels the love.
Now, remember I said this guy Jeremy wanted the rocket? He came over yesterday and picked it up. He was thrilled.
Jeremy, the rocket and his truck. |
I wonder what kind of looks he got as he drove it home. I am sure Granddad was smiling.
While Amy and I were packing up the attic, we found so much stuff and I found the bridesmaids dress I wore to Mary Lamb Discher's wedding. Amy put it on and I couldn't get the zipper up in the back! Of course Amy said she was wearing two shirts ~ it was hysterical!
Note the gloves ~ it was cold in the attic. The wedding did take place in Minnesota, but we didn't need fleece or gloves. I looked great in that dress and was much thinner! Those were the days!
Amy sold the wrought iron furniture - the couple who bought it "helped" Amy put it in their truck - and their teen- aged son was napping in the truck. Pampered. Amy was not happy.
I am working on moving the mattress and box springs off my bed so I can vacuum and get the stuff out from under it, but my two supervisors won't get off it. Better luck tomorrow.
Amy has found a new mattress that she likes better than the fancy temperpedic - it is a Casper mattress (like the ghost) - so if you are in the market for a new mattress, give it a try.
Love,
Leslie
