She told everyone that she could not see. That she had these little blisters everywhere, that no one can see. Their macular degeneration must be terrible.
We were there 4 hours. BUT, her macular degeneration is stable. She is not getting worse. Which is a win!
This is not a bad photo of Mom. She is in her traveling wheelchair (because she won't or can't walk 5 feet without having to sit down and rest) ~ and her little yellow band signifies that she is a fall risk.
Please note that her right arm (with the yellow band) is the arm with the infection and it is MUCH better!!!! She doesn't think so, but it is.
The most horrible thing about being at the doctor's for 4 hours is that the television was on FOX news and they were "showing" the Democratic National Convention and giving it the crazy Republican spin ~ and it was awful to watch!!!!!!!!!! A nightmare!!!!!!!!
Anyway, we go tomorrow to see her Primary and that is good because NOW she does have cellulitis in her right leg and she is so swollen with fluid, even though it is pouring out her left leg where she has a cut.
If it isn't one thing, it is another. On the positive side, a physical therapist is coming on Wednesday to do a home safety evaluation - to see about setting up an exercise schedule.
So, all is well.
Much love,
Leslie
