This is belated ~ the election stuff has been exciting enough and I neglected to share a very cool happening from Saturday.
Saturday was the Notre Dame Navy game and it was played in Jacksonville, Florida. Of course I had the game on, even though I knew that game could be very hard to watch and it usually does not end in a good way for Navy.
Imagine my surprise when I saw the P-3 (or the new P-8?) fly over, I wondered if it could possibly be David. And I knew the pilots would be shown at halftime so I was hooked.
And yes, David Whitehead was the commanding officer of the squadron and he participated in the fly by!

Since I have never known anyone involved in a fly by, this is very cool!
