You Blink and it is All Over....

Christmas was lovely.  It was fun to get ready and have all the surprises hidden away.  I could not have asked for a better time.

Sarah Plunkett Martin's kids made this and sent it to me!!

I wish I could tell you I made these, but they were delicious!!!!!  I did put them out on the plate.  That counts, right?
We did have some not good excitement, Lori's father-in-law had a small heart attack on Christmas night, right before we had dinner.  Jim took him to the ER and after many tests found out that he has a major problem with his heart and he is not going to get better.  He has gone from a 14 hour a day worker to in bed in hospice in a week.  It is a massive decline.

I have taken Christmas down and put it all in the dining room.  The tree is still up.  It looks beautiful.   But, it is all going away.  I left a tree up until we had a huge blizzard the week of Valentine's Day in Maryland.  Maybe.............

I guess I can't leave it all in here, can I?

This is the back of our house from the alley behind the house.

Got a huge box of fabulous treats from Margaret's family.  Chicago style pizza this weekend!!!!!!!!

Much love,
Leslie

PS ~ we had the cheeze pizza last night and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!
