Happy Fourth of July!!!!

It is a gorgeous 4th of July here!  Clear blue skies, low humidity ~ actually not very hot!  I will take it from Mother Nature and enjoy it.

I was outside watering and moving some pots around.  I put the grasses in the blue pots outside the garage......keeping my fingers crossed that they don't get liberated!.

These grasses were free - they came in the boxes with the lilacs.

I picked some tomatoes, deadheaded and repotted a couple of plants.  It is difficult to find clay pots that are not cracked and I am wondering if I should go to concrete?  Something to think about.

The sage is taking over!  The blackeyed Susans and the Cherokee Echinacea are going to be transplanted in the front this fall.

Amy and I are going to Rhonda's house for hotdogs and all the sides.  It will be delicious and festive!

Amy has been being careful ever since she got knocked down by Jake.  He didn't mean it and it really was SeaBee's fault.....but the concussion is still the same.  And it made Amy's pupils go back to the same size, instead of having one bigger than the other.

I had a project in the laundry room ~ really wanted more storage....

Went from this.....

To this!!!!!

I am very happy with the laundry room right now.

And in closing, we do not have any cicada's but we are loaded down with Japanese beetles! Thank goodness they are only here for June and July.  Very unwelcome guests!!!!!

So whatever you are doing today, have fun!  We miss everyone and actually looking forward to when we can actually get together again!!!!!

Much love,

Leslie
