Guilty, guilty, guilty..........I counted chickens. And, lesson learned.
The offers.....well, a couple were bogus, one was low ball, but good - no contingencies and settle in two weeks. Wow!!!! Then, a couple of hours later, they changed their minds because they would have to have flood insurance.
The fourth bid, we turned down. They had contingencies ~ needed to get a permit to add on and wouldn't settle until May 23rd.
So, the house is going to be painted and the wooden floors refinished and polished.
Amy is ok ~ I had visions of sell, settle and Amy here in two weeks. :(
But, I am back to optimistic.
Lori and Snoopy came over to visit between preschool and JJ's office. Lovely visit and she was definitely "Don't take the low ball offer!!!! Someone else will come along!" She is going with us to look at carpeting for the runner on the stairs tomorrow.
I moved the birds out of the bathroom ~ they really took up alot of room and they are now in the guest room in the front of the house. I will probably move them again, but for right now, they seem to be happy.
Back to the boxes!
